King and Queen of the Cat Tower Furniture

A friend of mine asked me to build her a cat tower.  A cat tower?  She showed me a picture and the price... $999.99  NINE hundred and ninety nine dollars... (U.S.).... yeah a grand, one thousand dollars. And the shipping was only ANOTHER $350 dollars!!!

I gave it some thought, and came up with an octagon shape in two foot sections that interlock. This one is big, 16" in diameter and 6.5' tall. so lets call this one king sized

Sweet, not only is my design superior, but it is built from furniture grade plywood. Inside and out is covered in premium grade carpet.  In addition, the more functional modular design makes it easy to move. But my friend Nikki's cats love this thing, there all over it.
